Where to find your Google Forms link

  1. Open the form in Google Forms and click Send.
  2. Choose the link tab and copy it. A forms.gle short link works too.
  3. Under Settings, turn off "Restrict to users in your organisation", or the form cannot be read.

Keep your past responses

  1. In Google Forms, open the Responses tab.
  2. Open the three-dot menu and choose Download responses (.csv).

Questions

Does section branching come across?

Yes. "Go to section based on answer" and each section's "after this section" setting become Spiceform logic jumps, so respondents take the same path.

What does not come across?

File upload questions, quiz scoring and images inside the form cannot be read from the public page. Add them in the builder after saving.

Do my past responses come across?

Not with the link. Download them from the Responses tab as a CSV and keep the file.

Comparing more than the import? Spiceform as a Google Forms alternative

Google Forms is a trademark of its owner. Spiceform is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google Forms. The import reads the public version of a form you link to; the comparison above describes Spiceform's importer as of September 28, 2026.
